Qixiang(Chee-Shyhang) come from Northeast China, trained in classical violin 5 years old, and began studying composition and piano performance in high school. In 2015, He was admitted to the Composition Department of ShenYang Conservatory of Music with top honors. During undergraduate studies, systematically studies classical composition theory and techniques, modern music composition methods and concepts, as well as Chinese ethnic music writing.

After graduation, He moved to Los Angeles in 2023 and pursed studies in Composition for Visual Media, as well as Jazz Piano Performing. Enrolled at UCLA in Fall 2025 to study Composition and Film Scoring.

As a composer, He own a strong foundation in traditional composition, emphasizing structural clarity and technical rigor. Experienced in studio collaboration, including recording assistance, equipment maintenance, score preparation, and cable management, performing reliably under high-pressure production environments.
